Online Gaming has brought up a lot of controversial issues in society over the years and social gaming is no exception. Whew, this going to be a serious topic again. I can’t seem to stop talking about Farmville and sharing to everyone the things I have discovered daily.
I just realized why children get addicted in playing these games. As parents we should see and understand their generation. It’s really great that Farmville was created for the purpose because it now gave even the parents a taste of how it is to learn and play these socially addicting games.
As an adult we are more mature to control our passions and can better guide our children especially on these online games. Farmville has made it possible for the two generations to meet halfway.
Although some would frown on this, my goodness isn’t having something to share with our children like this Farmville stuff an amazing feeling?
This is not the only reason why I like Farmville, I could also see some important uses it has brought in to my attention like knowing how it feels to be responsible and creating an oasis in the midst of our city life.
Farmville let us escape from our daily routine and be in a world of farming. Learning to think like a farmer and feel the glee when our crops mature and see the beauty we have created.
Here’s a quick tip I learned in Farmville:
Start designing your farm only when you reach at least level 30 and have millions in your account. That way you won’t worry a thing about spending your coins and rebuilding your farm afterwards.
It also makes children realize the value of spending and earning by keeping the farm afloat or by maneuvering it to unexpected heights. I have noticed this with my daughter when she went with me to buy groceries and keeps asking me the prices of the items we are buying and entering them in the calculator she brought and keeps reminding me the totals. She really brought a smile to someone near us when she said that my Farmville is rich in coins because I always calculate before farming. And we should do the same now so we can save more.
If we always look for the best in our surroundings, even using Farmville experiences can made useful in our life. It all really depends on us.
